Ditto to all of that! I was upset when Tamala Edwards came in out of nowhere and got the morning gig with Matt...and still sort of am! I like Tamala, but I think she's more of a hard news, evening type personality. Sarah is so bubbly and energetic no matter what time of day it is.

I've also noticed Erin O'Hearn returning as of late and subbing - she was in for Nydia this past Sunday morning, and was on for Matt today. Glad to see her back! I really don't understand the purpose of Sharrie Williams - they refer to her as "Action News anchor" but she has yet to anchor anything. And, this might be weird to say, but I'm kind of getting tired of her random reports. Why is she doing them? Sometimes she does 2 in the 5 pm newscast. I also saw her on the 11 a few times I think. She just gives an in-depth report on something. Usually things we pre-packged video - not even live interview shots. AND, even though she's called "anchor", they don't mention her as an anchor at the end of the show. I don't get annoyed by Lisa Thomas-Laury's random reports, because a.) she's LTL, and b.) they are usually cutesy, fluff stories that involved her going somewhere/doing something. Sharrie just puts together video clips and writes a script. Not really sure! I like Sarah & Walter together, as random as it may seem.

IF (and that's a big if) Michael Strahan joins GMA, I would think he would only be on perhaps the first hour? Otherwise, how else would he have time to get back to the LIVE set for his show?

I was wondering the same thing, but didn't get a chance to post here yet! What does anyone think of Sharie Williams? I still don't fully understand her purpose. I thought maybe she would substitute anchor, but the other day Eva Pilgrim was on instead of Monica.

I agree. Her voice is really irritating. This morning she was trying to make jokes about something and it just wasn't working.

We like him too much in Philly and I don't think he'd leave - he's brought a lot to WPVI and is super popular - has the most Facebook page "likes" of any Philly personality

I always find it interesting the change of tone people have when they are anchoring breaking news - particularly fast breaking and with little known facts. I find Monica Malpass to be particularly good at it. On a side note, I don't think I've EVER seen anyone co-anchor with Jim Gardner before??

If anyone watched World News tonight, there was a story about Dan Harris having a panic attack while doing the news on GMA 10 years ago. They showed a clip of Diane and Charlie and I forgot how incredibly close together they sat at the table - a lot different than it is today!

I know, I saw the dog promo during the news last night ... I don't really have any words to say?! Speaking of the "Action News van," I wonder what ever happened to the promo banner that would come on during primetime shows that would have the van drive across the screen and tease the 11 pm news? I always thought that was clever! Haven't seen it in forever.

So, did they not use numbers purposely (because perhaps they are falling behind?), or just to continue to stupid Olympic theme?

Walter Perez and Sarah Bloomquist together again this Sunday night. Interesting. Walter was alone last night.

Right now they are doing updates @ 8pm on their smartphone app for people without power... seems a tad unnecessary?

Rick Williams and Eva Pilgrim are about to take over for Matt and Tam on the extended storm coverage. Why not Rick and Sarah? Or Rick and Monica? And, it's not as if Sarah had the day off yesterday - she did a report about the 6ABC Zoo Balloon collapsing at 6pm last night.

I actually liked it, too...I've always enjoyed Sarah & Walter together, going back to when they filled in in the mornings like someone said. I think Nydia Han was on the noon show again today, but I think I saw Sarah reporting last night? Could be wrong, I don't remember. Sarah is both a great anchor AND a great reporter. I've always liked her. On a different note, there have been many times on WFMZ when either Eve or Jaciel are out on the morning show, and they do a 4-hour program solo. How ridiculous.

Sarah Bloomquist is anchoring with Walter Perez tonight - how odd? They never have 2 anchors at 6 or 11 pm!

Yet Walt is still referred to as "Lehigh Valley Correspondent Walter Perez" when doing reports from the LV...
