I just roll my eyes to this. Nothing surprises me anymore with WLS, especially when it comes to Cheryl Scott because she's the princess around there. She's up against: Skilling: 38 years at WGN Miller: 25 years at WMAQ Baskerville: 29 years at WBBM

She's on some sort of leave from a surgery she had. I think it was her shoulder.

Notice the different time/temp graphic. The noon one looks updated, however they're back to the old one at 5pm.

WGN had the 5pm news weekdays in 2009 and didnt have the weekend shows until July of 2014.

How was the 5pm show? Missed it tonight.

Lisa has only been off the noon show for two or three weeks tops.

Looks like they're going to have a "Sarah Jindra" at 5pm. From CRM: "In addition, the newscast will have a live breaking news desk that will be able to cover important breaking news, including traffic and weather emergencies. At the helm of this live desk will be WFLD-TV's weekend news anchors Scott Schneider and Kristen Nicole, with the two splitting the weekday duties between them."

Didn't realize Byron was that old. I was thinking he was around 45 or 50.

Apparently they're bringing in the weekend crew at 9 & 10 tonight they gave Mark and Micah (and tom) the day off. They'll be sending Rich King off, tonight, as well. (Hence the reason Bob and Jackie are there)

Mike Caplan has changed the cover photo on his Facebook page, took his profile picture off, and deleted a all posts since Wednesday. Kind of odd.

Wonder where Jim is tonight. He rarely misses a day.

Ugh... If Cheryl gets the "chief" title over Larry I don't even know what I'd do.

Going out on a limb here.... but did anyone actually watch the morning show?

Let's just hope they don't hire a 30 year old with good looks to boost ratings.
