Why can't GN do weather like that all the time?

Mikes personal weather page is now gone.

Nobody has posted on the weather page the Caplan started. Anyone think they'll deactivate the page? They've deleted all the cover photos that he's in as well.

Most likely who ever is on the 5/6 o'clock news. Either Kathy or Cheryl.

My opinion: We all saw this day coming, even though they said it wouldn't. Mike caplan is one of the best, not only at WLS, but in Chicago (next to skilling, of course) I'm guessing he's around 50-55 years old so he doesn't have a lot of his career left. His prime is over. It would be nice to see him on WGN Midday News and giving Tom the Evening at 9pm news. I wish nothing but the best for Mike, and nothing but the worst for WLS because they had it coming when they first got rid of Sylvia Perez.

Skilling will die in his weather center.

I'm eager to see how tom uses these new graphics. Anyone think he will keep them organized or cluttered?

Forget my comment. They had the new set with the old graphics. I just know that they were close to each other.

I think the graphics launched in 2004.

New 7 Day graphic tonight

By Linda's FB post, it looks like it's going to have an 11am news format. They're going to be in the kitchen tonight.

The light behind Mark is out.

WGN changed the "Tribune Broadcasting" graphic to a much simpler image. No animation like the previous one.

Troy won't be included because he is not an employee of ABC, he is per diem. If you recall, Mark Bishop was never included with the promos either.

Whatever way it goes, Mike deserves to be called chief meteorologist. Not cheryl.

There was no 4, 5, or 6pm newscast. The 10pm newscast just started and it's just Ron, Jerry on weather, and TBA on sports. On a personal note, merry christmas to everyone!
