  1. That's good. I'm not too impressed with Gray's packages. I hope more stations pick up the WAVE look.
  2. Do you know something we don't?
  3. Of course you have I wish more stations would use the package. It looks good and seems easy to utilize. Simple & easy way to give a stations brand into that of CBS.
  4. I know THEY could do it, but these reporters envelop themselves in city roads and traffic patterns and that benefits the viewers, imo. But, this was obviously a local decision. Surprising that something like this would come from WTHR.
  5. But how is a traffic reporter dated? I though my that was one of THE reasons people watched the morning news.
  6. WTHR has officially been Tegna-fied. The look fits them GOOD. Here's the open for "13 News" at Noon.
  7. I highly doubt it's because of acquisition attempts. Even if they do decide to sell, it could be a year or more before they are officially taken over. They still have to operate. It could be because of COVID-19, an error, they are moving to a new website, or those positions got filled and they never took them down.
  8. I can't remember how I did it, and the page just gave me an error message. @Weeters would be better equipped to answer this question!
  9. Cross-posted from Discord: I've been told by a source that WTHR will launch the Tegna GFX/Music next Wednesday (3/25) at noon!
  10. Regarding the Face the State music, as Weeters said (surprisingly) there is no corporate mandate to use C Clarity. It's just cheaper and easier for the stations to use it, so that's why they all do. I'm guessing they also use it because it is a unique opportunity to try something different in terms if the news music we are used to. WBNS' decision to continue the use of Aerial on Face the State has nothing to do with the fact that Tegna may or may not be sold.
  11. I think the graphics fit them well. Some of the modifications they've done (especially to the L3s) seem a little off...but I'll get used to it. I think they've done a good job with the music, too. It's not like they ditched some legacy package anyway. It was Aerial for crying out loud haha!!
  12. That's what I've been told, too. The new website and app will launch in early April. My WBNS source wouldn't say outright, but seemingly implied the new stuff is coming soon.
  13. I won't be surprised if that happens either. Honestly, MCTYW doesn't work well with the graphics at all. Kind of annoying, actually.
  14. WNEP is getting Tegna-fied on Wednesday at noon! There is a video on reporter Ryan Leckey's Instagram page & WNEP's, too.
  15. That's so dumb. People actually liked Take 5. Their ratings were growing so it makes no sense to cancel it. Just put someone in Angela's place. Problem solved.
  16. Not surprised he's leaving. He effectively got demoted. He was a very strong evening anchor. Disappointed he wont be showing up on New Orleans TV at the moment.

They probably just weren't paying attention and/or didn't get a new mug. They might not even know WKYC has a new logo. No way WKYC is changing the logo back now.
  18. Hmm...this showed up on FOX61's (WTIC) Instagram story last night.
  19. I've identified the new election music used on a lot of Tegna stations. It's called "Time To Roll" by FirstCom.
  20. Yes, they are. And it's about dang time, too!
  21. And flash isn't what millenials want. Authenticity is what appeals to them.
