Another specialty name that WBRZ has used (and, IINM, they still use this today): 2une In (for the morning edition).

Speaking of WBRZ, when it had the Eyewitness News name, their 10pm news was known as... the Nightdesk. I'm not even kidding.

    Here's a breakdown on who's airing it.

Nexstar gets Tampa and Panama City.  Cox gets Jacksonville and Orlando.  WFOR is airing it in Tampa and WBBZ is airing it in Ft. Myers.

All the other Sinclair markets in Florida are airing it on their stations.

You mean WFTS Tampa? Also WBBH Fort Myers is what you probably meant.

    And WFOR is in Miami.

And KGO was doomed between the introduction of PPMs exposing their actual listenership and all of it's post-Disney ownership.

Yep, that's true. Look at the last ratings book... KQED, KCBS and KSFO were all higher in the ratings than KGO. If your even higher than syndicated KSFO with your local lineup in some dayparts on KGO, then you know its fucked up and a change was needed.

And honestly, if I lived in San Fran, I'd be listening to either KQED or KCBS for my news and information anyways. I may be part of the demise of KGO by listening to someone else, but hey, I listen to what I want to listen to so... yeah, there. Hell, even KNBR/KTCT/KNBR-FM and even KGMZ would've been worth my time compared to KGO.

Why did CBS owned WBFS & WSBK dropped MyNetworkTV?

The service is irrevelant and CBS wanted to program those two hours it couldn't within those two stations in those Top 20 markets.

They'll be fine without MNT. WSBK and WBFS deserve to be Independents.

MNT is really worthless. I won't miss it one bit.

    Allison Latos leaving WSOC

Last newscast is tomorrow. Leaving TV altogether and staying in Charlotte. She really has been through a lot in 11 years with the cancer scare and the loss of one of her daughters.

I felt like she has been there longer, but I've followed her career since WTOV because her and Natalie Pasquarella worked together at 'TOV and good 'ol Channel 9 for a long time. It sucks she won't be around but family matters more first.

The 1pm hour is an odd time for affiliates to fill with live news cut-ins. The morning crew normally will have left and the evening crew not yet in. Seems like stations would likely be prerecording something from their morning/noon team...

Its usually an afternoon or midday crew who would do it since having a morning team doing it would be so much longer of a day for them.

For my NBC station WTVJ, the midday team at noon and 4pm do the live cut-ins.

  9. Both of my NBC station's cut-ins (WTVJ) are live at 1:22 and 1:52pm.

Also I wanna say that this alone is why I prefer NBC ND over GMA3 but if that wasn't included, I'd still think I would prefer NBC ND over GMA3 because it just looks like a better more straight to the point newshour than GMA3 is.

Out of the Denver stations  KDVR & KWGN have the most changes year over year followed by KUSA & KCNC.  This is one of the bigger changes to lineups that I can remember in recent memory for the Denver tv stations.  As per usual KTVD, KWGN & KCDO are the dumping grounds for most of the syndicated programing in Denver market.  I think that KCNC adding back news @9AM is a big deal as well as NBC NEWS Daily over on KUSA it gives both stations some opportunities to add news programing to the lineup.  Ring Nation is not cleared here in Denver.   I kinda wish KUSA would drop Colorado & Company it's pay to play program and shift the TODAY 4th hour into it's proper time slot and add more newscasts, but wishful thinking on my part.   And having Dateline on during the middle of the day seems odd to me, I know most NBC Stations are doing it but wow, strange.

Great Day Colorado has been on KWGN for almost a year now while KDVR has had 4pm news for a while now too. Those are nothing new.

KJRH is going to try to do an hour long 6pm newscast for the second time they tried it a couple of years ago for a few months then scratched it due to low ratings.  The List will be moving to 4PM along with a new show at 4:30PM called Afternoon Focus.. Kelly Clarkson will stay at 3PM and 25 words or less will remain at 2 and 2:30PM.

Yeah that was crazy. They did so for like a month back in 2016, then changed it back to air The List at 6:30pm. I don't get why they expanded it only to then go back to a half-hour just a month later.

Some odd last-minute changes at KPRC/Houston, made by the new GM who just arrived from KSAT. With less than a week’s notice, Houston Life gets demoted to its old spot, 1p, starting Monday. It was just announced on air today. The show had been on at 3p. But the changes start earlier, at 11a. The Midday newscast gets shortened by 30 minutes. A day-old episode of ET airs at 11:30a, instead of 12:30p. The noon news expands to an hour. So still 90 minutes of news, just in a weird configuration. I’m not really sure why they insist on running the ET repeat. Just do 2 straight hours of news. Putting it in between two newscasts is … bizarre. Anyway, Houston Life as said above airs at 1p, where NBC News Live was supposed to run. Now, NBC News Live will air at 2p (Is there even a live feed at that hour?) and Dr. Phil is at 3p. NBC News Live will kill the afternoon momentum, IMHO. Anyway, this is all dramatically different from the schedule they had been promoting just days ago.

NBC News Daily will have four live feeds... 12 Noon, 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00pm ET, which is in conjunction with the NBC News NOW schedule.

WKMG - no changes either. graham media must runs on Saturday nights when needed. Inside Edition Weekend remains on Sunday nights at 11:35pm.

I'm not aware that Graham Media does must runs because I don't think they do. What WKMG does do though is run two half-hour shows that are produced by them, After The Whistle (sports) and Getting Results (investigations/consumer reports), that air on Saturdays after their 11:00pm news.

Looks like KTTV expanded Good Day LA into the 10am hour and it’s moving Special Report to 6pm also expanding it a hour.

After September 9th the Noon newscast isn’t scheduled anymore

All schedules show the same thing.

On Monday, Sept. 12th, the 10:00am hour will still be there, the noon news will be gone, and the 6:00pm news will be a full hour, finally giving KTLA its first competition at 6:30pm since its newscast launch in 2009.

I think we all figured this was coming... KVVU added a 2 PM newscast now that Ellen is officially done with reruns. They're on the air nonstop from 1pm-7:30pm.

    Think about this...

    4:00-10:00am

    1:00-7:30pm

    10:00pm-12:00am

And that's on top of their longtime lifestyle show MORE from 10:00-11:00am and the new syndicated show Beat The Odds that's coming out of KVVU's studios.

And I agree about a 4 PM newscast on WSOC; I'm puzzled as to why they haven't started one when WBTV and WCNC have, and Charlotte is a big-enough market for it to work  (after all, there are three 4 PM newscasts each in Raleigh and Greensboro).

WJZY is also on at 4pm so if WSOC were to add one, there'd be four.

gonna bring a new market to this thread - orlando. these are weekday changes - might post weekends later? idk

WESH - the kelly clarkson show at 3pm starting 9/12 (tamron hall remains at 2pm. I guess they backed out of getting our rights to Jennifer Hudson? Was a huge window open for WFTV to take Tamron and their lineup is paying for it. )

WKMG - no changes. not that they ever want to spend money on syndication except the 2 shows they currently have

WFTV - the early exit of Judge Jerry and loss of a chance at Tamron makes this lineup weird. rightthisminute got replaced with just for laughs gags at 9:30am on 9/5, and is being replaced with Hot Bench on 9/12 (which I assume is a placeholder for ring nation.......if it even gets on the air.) also kelly clarkson isn't being cleared in Orlando this week - don't ask me how that's possible. any 10am is now 2 of many Family Feud runs this week on WFTV/WRDQ. 3:30pm is still Family Feud/Jeopardy as it has been since 7/26. on 9/12 10am is gonna change to iCrime.

WKCF - obvious drew barrymore cut to 30 mins at 10am (we're not clearing the second half hour). lauren lake moves in at 10:30am. Maury slides to 11am until Karamo on 9/19. 2 Steve blocks at 12pm and 3pm as Jerry moves to 1pm, second Maury at 2pm. American Housewife and the Neighborhood at 4 and 6pm hours, The Goldbergs moves to 5pm. Mom slides to the midnight side of the comedy block.

WRDQ - relative justice FINALLY gets cleared in Orlando at 10am. game show block is officially dead - Chicago Fire and SVU at 11am and 12pm. WFTV news repeat at 1. Dateline moves back (I guess last season's move to WRBW was a last second decision) at 2pm and 9pm. Sitcom block stays put at 3pm-5pm. 5-7pm is doing a bunch of random placeholders and stuff - Family Feud remains at 7 and 7:30. ICrime at 8pm. The First 48 moves from CW18 weekend slots to WRDQ weekdays at 2am - many of these changes are happening 9/12.

WOFL - Sherri/Jennifer at 10/11am, no other changes except Pictionary at 2pm and Nick Cannon at....11:35pm, a late night talk show of sorts until it finally leaves the lineup. judge judy remains at 4pm till someone realizes these are repeats.

WRBW - judge mabalean's 2 year clearance in Orlando ends - at least this week. no extreme changes except Sherri/Jennifer at 3 and 4pm, Nick Cannon at 9pm, and the sitcoms slated to leave this season will leave.

did not mean to bury half the page with my list but this is what's happening in Orlando.

First off, welcome to the forums.

Second, Nick Cannon still in reruns? What the hell? His show got canceled this season, but your telling me reruns will stick around for another year?

Not to get too off-topic, but all things considered, McCoy has taken surprisingly good care of WISH. They’ve added a number of reporters, and they’re even airing HBCU Football this season. Of course, a network affiliation would greatly help matters, but they’re working with what they’ve got. Hopefully McCoy puts the same investment into the new set.

Also, look at the podcasts they got out there... more than they should have, honestly.

The channels on Pluto TV, which is FREE look better than channels they want you to pay 150 bucks for with the cable subscription.

That in itself says a whole lot.....unless that was the goal in the first place.

Pluto TV, XUMO, Tubi, Live TV from The Roku Channel, Peacock, Stirr, Distro TV, Plex.

They all offer "Live TV" channels inside their apps and most channels are just as equal or miles better than what you get on cable. The only downside to that is live sports, that you still need cable for. Lmao.
