    I think KIII will still brand itself as 3 News but with the ABC logo next to it. Also, is there anyone with the new KYTX open that has the Gannett graphics?

    I wonder if KCEN/KAGS are gonna change their logos like some guy said towards the bottom of this thread.

    They've also seemed to have pulled off a KVUE in that they changed they logo on display, except without changing their main logo.

    I'm starting to think KSDK should've been the one sold to Meredith Corp. and KMOV should've stayed with Gannett

    Any promos for the Gannett graphics on KCEN/KAGS or any other Lone Star station besides KYTX?

    I've heard some stations use that cut, but I was talking about the one that appears on a video on this website called "This is Home - News/Vocal" at :06 and 1:30 which I have yet to hear on any Gannett station.

    There's a video here called "This is Home - News/Vocal" which has a cut that appears twice. I have yet to hear that one on any Gannett station but I'm not sure if that's the same cut that you're referring to that hasn't been used before. If not, can you please send in a video of or a link to it if you have either? Have there been any promos that showcase the This is Home graphics for any of the Lone Star stations, or at least for KYTX and KCEN/KAGS since they're going to have them first?

    I'm surprised that Belo, before it got acquired couldn't sacrifice TXCN, but a year after Gannett took over (just recently), they announced its end and now there's even a thread about it here: http://forums.tvnewstalk.net/index.php?/topic/14548-txcn-to-shut-down/&do=findComment&comment=130380

    Y'all know how TXCN is nowhere near as successful as NWCN? Well just recently, Gannett has announced the end of TXCN on April 1st, and about time too, it's been a joke since 2006.     I like the cut WTSP uses with the "Da-da-da" rapid thing (said rapid thing being the same cut WGRZ often uses for its opens) that TheMisterFree is referring to better.

    I'd say that they should use that version for the NIghtbeat broadcasts.     And as for their (or at least most of their) music cuts here's which ones I think they should have: morning opens: noon and 4 p.m. opens 5 p.m.-6 p.m. opens: (10 seconds into the video) 10 p.m. (nightbeat) opens and most of their promos: (14 seconds into the video) Or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TQGqc5FX9y4 They might have different cuts than my suggestions, but it's their decisions on what cuts they'll implement on their stations.

    KENS 5 also had a Gannett-ized tweak to its Facebook profile picture below: . Look closely at the background and you'll notice the background for the Gannett stations' open.

    I'm assuming they'll adopt the "This Is Home" package when they launch the updated graphics (but without the rundown) on the listed dates.

    What about 9news and 11Alive? Do they keep their bugs on during the weather?

    And they will, probably by incorperating the FOX Abilene and FOX San Angelo brandings and their current logos into their updated graphics. Only thing is, what about their website? Will it still have the domain "www.myfoxzone.com", but with the look of the USA Today website?

    Still, the logo based on that (the 5 logo) has been used in some form since 1993 and I think it needs an update or at least a change in branding from "NewsChannel 5".

    Same thing and I don't know what to suggest for KSDK other than present different logo options and having its viewers in its viewing area vote on which logo they want much like WGRZ did in 2011 when they wanted a new logo.

    Scratch that, I just saw 11Alive's live broadcast and even they haven't updated or changed their logo.

    Have they updated or changed any of the stations' logos to go along with the new change?

    I saw the graphics y'all are talking about on KHOU on it's live stream yesterday, and I'm guessing the Lone Star stations (and any other station should any more be acquired by Gannett) will be using those same graphics.
