  1. Don't time brokerage agreements assure that they're going to own the stations?
  2. To the point where you can search "Fox News hot" on YouTube and you'd be surprised at how many views many of those videos get
  3. Any other soccer team signing a deal with any other Sinclair stations?
  4. So now that means that KTTU doesn't have to terminate the JSA with Tegna for 10 years now, among other JSAs
  5. WBIR has the updated platform too: http://www.wbir.com/ And I'm pretty sure that the LSB stations will get that updated layout when they update their sites next month
  6. And as of this point, I noticed that these are the stations that have the added color scheme on the L3's and I organized the following by order of market size (excluding KMSB and KTTU): 11Alive, KHOU, KPNX, KING, KARE 11, KUSA (obviously since it was the first to have 'em), WKYC, KXTV, KGW, WZZM, WVEC, WFMY, First Coast News (WTLV and WJXX), WHAS, WWL, WGRZ, WBIR, KREM, WLTX, KTVB (basically, all the King stations and presumably NWCN), WMAZ, KXVA, and KIDY. Any station that wasn't listed are the ones that I noticed whose L3's don't have the added color scheme. UPDATE: WFAA now has the added color scheme as well
  7. The same goes with Waco, or more specifically, KWKT and KYLE-TV
  8. More so since they have the best content sharing in the country
  9. They did say it would start sometime this month.
  10. If I was in Boston, I'd watch WGBH more than any of the affiliates of the private broadcasting networks not to mention that WGBH radio is as beloved as its TV sister. And speaking of PBS, it's the network that's the least affected by the M&A craze by far as well as the network that has the most diverse station owners
  11. And possibly the Nexstar/Media General deal if it goes through??? By the way, WGBH is a PBS member station, not an NBC affiliate
  12. I'm okay with grandfathering existing JSAs (such as the JSA with KTTU) as long as there aren't any new ones.
  13. And definitely a better one than the last one
  14. Even the font colors they use represent the Republicans and Democrats
  15. The only CBS O&O worse than KYW as of recently is WBBM and they both suck.
  16. Now that you mentioned it, did the other 3 King Broadcasting stations update their weather graphics to match the rest of their newscasts like NWCN does?
  17. I meant to ask when are they going to update the websites so that they have the same layout as 9news and 11Alive?
  18. And I thought Starboard Value would be the one initiating the proxy fight. Plus, I could really see Pluria Marshall of Marshall Broadcasting getting involved in it.
  19. I noticed that the former LSB stations still haven't updated their websites. How long is it going to take for their websites to be updated?
  20. Td Jakes' show has officially been greenlighted as of yesterday http:// http://www.tegna.com/tegna-media-greenlights-t-d-jakes-talk-show-for-fall-2016-launch/
  21. I remember an article from about 2 years ago in which, if I remember correctly, Nexstar's CFO said that Nexstar doesn't care about ratings (some of their stations don't rate with Nielsen and even then, they don't care about being #1) and neither do their advertisers, because according to them, "what matters is moving trucks this month" (not the exact words). And you're right about Perry Sook emphasising localism, he even did it while accepting the first amendment award http://www.broadcastingcable.com/news/washington/sook-broadcastings-localism-envy-other-media/138700
  22. Basically you're saying that all the 4 networks’ special report graphics suck. I do agree with NBC News' special report graphics. They should at least have an update to their current graphics
  23. What about Fox News' special report graphics?
