  1. And KGW be brought back to the King Broadcasting company, the holdings company. Not sure what about the other two though
  2. As are KUSA, WUSA, WFAA, KHOU, KVUE, and KENS. http://static.9news.com/DIRECTV/ http://static.wusa9.com/DIRECTV/ http://static.wfaa.com/DIRECTV/ http://static.khou.com/DIRECTV/ http://static.kens5.com/DIRECTV/ http://static.kvue.com/DIRECTV/ Presumably every TEGNA station is warning that their channels will be cut off from AT&T/Direct TV tomorrow.
  3. Sinclair the most out of any TV station group with biased reporting towards conservatives (they outright say it in their website) sometimes bordering racism, especially their legacy stations (including WBFF), and now a "Terrorism Alert desk". And Fox News channel and MSNBC as well with extremes towards each of the two sides, and to a lesser extent, CNN, no denying that it too is guilty of bias sometimes.
  4. Apparently there are articles that say that America is too dumb for TV news and watch it more for entertainment. Seeing as how Trump is a great example of this and Nexstar as well (if they buy Media General), I could see their point
  5. Which raises the question, who would own KTTU after the JSA expires?
  6. They can't legally own it because there are only 7 voices in Tucson.
  7. It's not going to be long before the purchase gets completed
  8. I've seemed to have noticed that many of Nexstar's apps are rated 4.0 or higher (on a scale of 0 to 5), yet people, including many people on here on TVNT (including me I must admit) often say that Nexstar is cheap (though they do have a point on that one in some markets).
  9. Still, Sinclair has a good relationship with Fox, so if Sinclair wanted to, they could buy a 20% in Fox Sports.
  10. With KCRA/KQCA using strive and KTXL using Trust. It's the same situation in Harrisburg but with 2 stations.
  11. I know, right? In fact, they should buy a 20% stake in Fox Sports and simulcast NFL games involving teams in their respective NFL markets that Sinclair's stations are in, the same way Hearst does with ESPN to compensate for their (Sinclair's) lack of quality when it comes to journalism.
  12. Why hasn't it been changed in a long time?
  13. Is WJLA going to be Sinclair's second flagship because of this and a few other factors???
  14. And KDAF and presumably all the other Tribune stations as well.
  15. I think he meant as an app from the app store or Google play.
  16. I'm not sure if anyone else thinks so but, shouldn't TXA 21 and WBFS bring back their news operations?
  17. I feel like I have to warn the FCC about time-brokerage agreements used in the same way you just mentioned. Also like I said in an earlier post, Nexstar apparently seems to like saying that a station they're acquiring is a "natural compliment to (insert region here)", even if it might not be to a certain region.
  18. And that's a major reason (and probably the main reason) why I prefer watching the Today show (and really, NBC News in general) over GMA (and ABC news).
  19. Sorry, I meant GMA is celebrating 40 years on the air.
  20. And GMT is celebrating 40 years on the air
  21. She should've been hired at any of the Nexstar or Sinclair stations, not a Scripps station of all stations she could've been in.
  22. Add WISH-TV to the list of stations with drones. http:// http://www.broadcastingcable.com/news/local-tv/media-general-s-wish-launches-first-newsgathering-drone-indiana/145699
  23. She'd probably fit more with Sinclair or Nexstar since they both have a bias towards Republicans, though I'm surprised Scripps kept her despite her bias. In fact, I wonder what the employees at KJRH think about that.
  24. Not to mention a more seamless transition because the center part of the lower thirds is already there upon transition.
