  1. They are fixing it. It appears they forgot to install Barlow on their machines. Once they did that, it started to fix everything weatherwise. That said, WILX is next.
  2. I can confirm WYMT will be switching to GrayONE this year as part of their 40th anniversary celebration. They are slowly working it into promos and weather has fully gone GrayONE (Watch an entire Weather cast.) The CBS Eye removal is part of the Gray Mandate.
  3. That's certainly a wide shot!
  4. That is their new severe weather ticker system Called MAX Alert Live. (We just updated here as well.) All Gray stations, when they switch over to MAL, will look like this regardless of whether they have GrayONE or not. (Some stations still have the old :LIVEWire system and have not converted over to the new software yet.)
  5. That's a quick fix. I am sure Cyle Dickens can go in there and fix it really quick.
  6. Talk about a MASSIVE upgrade for them!
  7. WYMT has switched to GrayONE fully for weather. The First Alert Weather logo is the same as that of WKYT. The banners are a little different as there's a yellow streak for the morning show which turns into a red streak for the evening shows. When an Alert Day is issued, the logo changes to say First Alert Weather Day and the banner part that is blue turns red. The background is mostly white with blue elements that also change red during an alert day. Here are some attachnments of both the blue and red look.
  8. We can add WEAU to the GrayONE List
  9. Looks like WDIV switched to Baron whereas WPLG is still on WSI. EDIT: I didn't see the update below. This comment can get deleted.
  10. Unless they are deemed as a "Legacy branding" as listed above. WHAS has always been the First Alert Storm Team ever since...04ish? And prior to that, they were just the WHAS Storm Team. (Unless Gray doesn't want WHAS's money anymore for royalties. Then WAVE will become the First Alert Station)
  11. Mark my words, WKYT WILL be debuting this month.
  12. WJHG is not on the short list. WTVM is though. There will be two stations this Monday that will debut.
  13. I highly doubt that happens as the stations only have 4 options to choose from; Blue/Red (KQWC), Blue/Yellow (WVLT), Blue/White (WAVE), Red/White/Black (WWBT). That said, I can see WYMT going Blue/Yellow or Blue/White
  14. WLWT and WLKY work as well
  15. KCTV will be either late this year or early next year. WALB was the one that I mentioned that debuted on Friday.
  16. Expect a rollout somewhere on Friday, then two on May 1st, one on May 3rd, one on May 13th, then two on May 15th, then one May 24th, then one May 29th, then one July 1st, then one on August 1st just to name a few. Not mentioning call letters, but I will say WXIX is NOT on that list.
  17. Looks like WAVE is next on the list!
  18. They should've bought back the KAKELand WeatherPLEX https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SR3SKHLGwTY
  19. Looks like Gray is trading KGWN in Cheyenne and its other stations for a new station in SLC.
  20. wearesandiegoandsoutherncaliforniaandsomethingtodowitharnoldschwarzeneggeronlytomakeyoutypeoutschwarzeneggertwiceproudhomepage.com
  21. Nah. Too short of a URL
  22. Hate to speculate but…Diagrid V.1 graphics came out in 2012. The refresh came out in 2018. Potential 2024 refresh based on the 6 year cycle?
  23. WKBT has had them for over a year. They debuted them when they debuted Ross Overdrive in 2022. It was a test to see if their VP of news actually liked this vision or if he wanted to switch back to the old look. (I worked there during this transition.)
  24. I heard this from a colleague who works at an NBC Gray affiliate. It's not an NBC thing. It's a "Gray" thing. Eventually all stations will be removing their affliliation from their logos. The reasoning is to distance the stations from the affiliates and to separate itself from the fake news movement that the national media gets. Basically it's so people trust the LOCAL news and to take on their own branding and identity.
