  1. WSVN loves to pre-empt programming and FNS was no exception. It aired Monday Mornings at 4:00am prior to moving this. And now with FNS airing at 9:00am, TIF Sunday now airs in two blocks: 8:00-9:00 and 10:00-11:00am.

But if you ask me, it should've been shifted to 7:00-10:00am so that FNS can air at 10:00am.

My thoughts exactly, it would make more sense to air it at 10 after their morning news.

  2. On yesterday's or Wednesday's episode of Today, I really didn't like how Matt was so quick to call Ari Melber wrong after his live report back in NY with Savanah. Ari's point was that comparing both accounts of Lochte's story, the one with Bush then with Lauer, left so much to wonder b/c of many discrepancies. However, Matt was quick to say not much changed, Ari was reaching too much. Now that this has blown into a bigger issue, I wonder how Matt feels.

  3. Sooooo... I think I may be starting to see the point of everyone who said GMA maybe making a huge mistake by focusing on Michael Strahan. Though it's still yet to be seen how much the show will change with him at the helm I really just don't think he meshes well with anyone else besides Robin. Jesse Palmer is so much better with the team including George. Jesse could also be groomed for a larger role on the show one day where as I don't see Michael ever taking the reigns of the program.

This is all coming to me while watching GMA regularly the past few weeks. That being said we have no idea who will be on the show in 5 years, but I doubt Robin and George stay around forever. ABC needs to start building up talent to replace them.

As a regular GMA viewer, I agree 100%. Jesse is more natural in that position. I can honestly see him in George's chair down the line, whereas, it's hard for me to picture what role Michael really fulfill on the show. Michael should have stayed with Kelly. It's so cringeworthy seeing him presenting and interacting with others on the show.

As far as successors for Robin and George, I think Amy definitely should get the job whenever Robin decides to leave and I'd keep an eye on Dan Harris, Jesse Palmer, and TJ Holmes for George.

  4. David anchored tonight instead of Tom, perhaps given the gravity of the day's news.

I think that was planned ahead for the RNC convention coverage. Lester and Scott anchored their respective broadcast for the same reason too.

  5. So this morning there was no newsreader. George and Robin handled all of the segments, George briefly read the headlines at about 7:15 then they had Lara a story on the Oscars.

Tom Llamas read the headlines at the toth 8AM.

  6. GMA appears to have a new segments: "The Big Board" with experts/analysts weighing in on the day's hot topics and "Hot Shot" the day's viral pictures and/or videos. Plus they're starting to use Michael much more throughout the show and less Lara Spencer.

  7. I have no clue just knew this new girl is replacing her since the PR stated she was hired as weekend morning meteorologist for WTVJ.

I think I have it figured out now. Erika Delgado moves to weekend evenings, Adam Berg weekdays, and the new meteorologist weekend mornings.

  8. I think we can say for sure that Candace and Joy will be back next year. Raven, Michele and Whoopi are all candidates to be dropped. Paula could be dropped but if they are going to drop the three I just mentioned, they may not want to make it four.

I think a panel of Joy (moderator), Candace, Sunny Hostin, Paula (connects very well with Sunny) and one other would be very good.

I agree. Maybe add Sara Haines as the fifth one. On days Whoopi and Raven are off, Paula seems to do fine, however, when they're not things get so cringeworthy.
