Josh Elliott filled in for the first time on CBS This Morning. He now has been on all three network morning shows. I didn't catch the show this morning but according to the comments on TVNewser, he did a good job.

So she's moving to WSCV Telemundo 51? Because I know she does weekend evening weather there and can speak Spanish fluently.
That's what I'm wondering because WTVJ has a strong team of meteorologists. No need to mess it up.

Talk about a jump. St. Joseph, MO meteorologist Angie Lassman is moving from KNPN...to WTVJ in Miami. She's going from market 201 to 16.
Who is she replacing?

Yes she has been doing double duties for a bit now every time Robin is off.

Allegedly Kelly isn't the only one furious, Lara Spencer is also mad at the execs naming Michael co-anchor. Michael is being promised the 8:00 AM hour and as many have already said Lara's role will decrease.

Surprising move indeed. Thought it would be him leaving GMA soon rather than joining full time.

Changes could be coming soon to Today's Take.

I am so sick of this show, it has gotten really bad. Today they're having a Bollywood dance party. Also, it's still weird seeing David Muir fill in on the networks morning program.
ABC has many competent anchors that could fill in for George. I don't understand why they have David doing double duties whenever George is off.

Josh Elliot joins CBS News, he'll anchor on CBSN. http://www.adweek.com/tvnewser/josh-elliott-joining-cbs-news/285925

I'm guessing they want to promote the A-team whenever possible, even if their weekend duo is better.
As for the open, I still don't like that blue-backed open, but I love that cut.
Does anyone know why Rob & Irika will be anchoring tonight at 10? On a Saturday? Just caught the tail-end of the Saturday morning news and Marissa Bailey said "be sure to join Mai at 5 and Rob & Irika at 10." Huh? The only thing I can think of is CBS has the Republican debate tonight, but that hardly seems like a Super Bowl type of event to bring in your A-team.Also, I've been meaning to mention that Channel 2 has a cool new intro to it's weeknight M-F 10pm news, even featuring a cut from Gari's 1994 Enforcer package that WBBM used to use as a sports bumper like 20 years ago. But it totally works. Here's a link to some video of it (since I don't know how to post it directly). It's a little cut-off at the start, but you get the gist of it. Enjoy the 30 second commercial as well
It appears that here in Miami WFOR is the doing the same having Rick and Rudabeh at 11.

A much needed improvement! Even though, I wish ABC didn't confine everything in the middle but rather stretch the L3 more evenly throughout the screen.

Question have there been any weather personalities that have transfer from weather to news? We see many go from sports to news, but has there been some go from weather to news?
Rob Marciano does the news from time to time. He's filled in for Dan on GMA weekend.

I think that Thomas Roberts, he filled in for Lester the past two days, should get the Saturday anchor position. He could keep his MSNBC show similarly to what Kate does. Jose is ok but he just lacks something for me.
-
Lester is out sick today so Brian will be anchoring NBC News Special a Report this afternoon.
But don't expect Brian to fill in on Nightly as he banned from appearing on broadcast
I'm glad seeing Brian Williams on the NBC air again. I've always liked his style, he handles special reports like no other.

What about Nexstar?
So sad seeing Pam leave WTVJ, she was the best on morning TV in Miami. But I do wish her well nonetheless.

It seems like Indra Petersons has joined ABC News, according to her recent twitter posts. She was on WNT yesterday and filled in on GMA this morning.
-
Tvnewscheck is reporting that Pam Giganti is leaving WTVJ, this month will be her last. She is retiring from broadcast journalism. Sheli Muniz will be her replacement.

Lisa Wilkinson of Today Australia just joined George from Sydney.

I'm hoping they'll have the full thing up for viewers that want to rewatch it such as myself.
Also, Geraldo Riviera was on from Paris. I'm wondering if Cuomo would be able to do the same?
-
I wonder if ABC is considering a CBSN like operation because I'm really enjoying having this non-stop ABC coverage. I'd really like to see ABC do something like CBSN and they could even stream in on their digital channel all the time.
I was thinking of the same thing, I'm really loving this broadcast as well.
-
I love how they went live to the View towards the end of the west coast broadcast.

WFOR's Natalia Zea is leaving the station to work for the Miami school district, not sure if it was mentioned here before.
