  1. Not to mention how many stations have a Father-Son team in place to carry on. Did anyone else find it weird that station owner Dick Dean did take time from his usual commentary to acknowledge Rob;s retirement announcement. Maybe he will record something for the July retirement special instead? OOPS - can't get edit feature to work - meant to say that Dick Dean did NOT mention it.
  2. Haven't been able to watch all of today's Deadline:White House - but has Nicolle explained why she is back in the "bunker" again? It gives me Covid flashbacks.
  3. They are on the same set - looks to me they are sharing the Telemundo62 studio for some reason.
  4. I thought Chris primarily had an off-screen role as weather producer.
  5. So we should anticipate a new weekend anchor…
  6. Why no GOP debate recap tonight?
  7. I am curious to see how MSNBC handles this as well. They go out of their way to remind the viewers that their parent company is part of the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers’s (AMPTP) whenever they cover the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike but so far have not mentioned the family connection to Alicia. There will be tough times ahead for Alicia and her brother Rep. Menendez (NJ-8) as they support their parents throughout this challenge while maintaining their professional roles. As long as Alicia doesn't cross the line like Chris Cuomo did and respects the journalistic boundaries that are required she will be fine - but I can only imagine how tough it will be as they are her parents.
  8. Maybe it is simply cheaper than acquiring another major syndicated show similar to Rachael Ray or Dr.Phil which WFMZ previously aired. Just a thought...

  10. Maybe, maybe not - it is a choice he may never be able to come back from - but he could also become a rising star in the MAGA media world. Time will tell.
  11. Some have suggested elsewhere it is a reworking of the pre-KYW 3 from 1963-65 (thank you logopedia for the image). Maybe? I think - keeping with Eagles green theme - it looks the goal posts fell over - or a 2 prong plug.
  12. Let's remember here that BOTH NBC News Now/Daily and DOOL were both already on-air and remain that way - DOOL was NOT cancelled as some would say. The only real difference is the news product is now streaming and broadcast instead of streaming only - and the entertainment product is now streaming only instead of streaming and broadcast. Since DOOL is a Sony production with a multi-year contract the costs probably remain the same. NBC therefore should be making MORE money with this move - NBC News Now would not have brought in the numbers of new Peacock subscribers (even at a big discount) that DOOL probably has. Simply put - SAME cost + MORE revenue = BIGGER PROFITS for NBCU/Comcast. Although that is not the same for the affiliates - they are the ones taking a hit.
  13. Kendis has been removed from the CBS Miami website.
  14. In Philly that would be - 330am EARLY TODAY 4AM-7AM NBC10 NEWS 7AM TODAY 9AM THIRD HOUR 10AM HODA & JENNA 11AM NBC 10 NEWS - 1145AM PHILLY LIVE 12N NBC NEWS DAILY That's 9 1/2 hours of news...maybe NBC needs to look into a cable news channel or streaming service instead... oh wait?!?! Not to mention... 4PM NBC10 NEWS 5PM NBC 10 NEWS 6PM NBC 10 NEWS 630PM NBC NIGHTLY NEWS 7PM NBC10 NEWS
