  1. One of the KDKA photographers I'm friends with was talking on Facebook about it and brought up the idea. I don't believe it will actually happen though.
  2. The only one that actually looked like they did any action instead of running a crawl was KDKA-TV. I also heard they may air the West Coast CBSEN feed on sister station WPCW-TV at 11 PM.
  3. From Joe Flint of the Wall Street Journal: CBS News experienced technical difficulties tonight that prevented the CBS Evening News from airing at 6:30 pm, ET on the CBS Television Network. The issue is being resolved and the Mountain and West Coast versions of the CBS Evening News will air during the regular time slots.
  4. I'm curious if New York or LA could be used for the west coast feed if DC continues to have issues?
  5. KDKA-TV, Which airs the CBSEN at 7 PM also had this issue but quickly switched back to KDKA-TV News with the weekend open. Many local promos in place of the commercials. I will try to pull in KCBS or KCNC to see if it airs on the west coast.
  6. Here is a WPXI Promo with Lee VO they have used since 2017. This will be interesting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_gJ4iQcoZA
  7. I wonder if there will be a compromise. WPXI uses Brian Lee in a small capacity but I would love to hear Lee do KDKA-TV promos.
  8. KDKA-TV can't use the Brian Lee Voiceover because WPXI already uses Lee for their promos. Can we hear a version from Steve Kramer?
  9. I still think KDKA-TV deserves to be in the conversation to do a CBS Weekend News as well.
  10. Any Word which local station is doing the CBS Weekend News this weekend? Still hoping for KDKA-TV.
  11. I called the CBS Washington bureau this afternoon and suggested several Affiliates to do CBS Weekend News Broadcasts next. My suggestions were KDKA-TV, WTKR, WJZ, WJAX, WTAJ, and WTTV.
  12. I could see Ken Rice or Susan Koeppen for sure. Stacy has rarely been on air in the last month. It has been mostly Kristine Sorenson, Ken Rice, or Susan Koeppen. Remember, Susan was on The Early Show in 2004 and 2005.
  13. I'm hoping KDKA-TV gets a chance to anchor the CBS Evening News.
  14. I'm wondering when WTKR or KDKA will get the chance to anchor the CBS Weekend news.
  15. Pittsburgh (CBS O&O KDKA-TV) Does the same thing and air the CBS Evening News at 7 PM. Nearby Markets such as WTAJ, WTRF, and WKBN all air the CBS EN at 6:30 PM.
  16. Here is KDKA using the new CBS O&O Weather graphics. I think they look a lot like the Weather Graphics Sinclair has.
  17. I fixed it. I believe i got D.C. (who actually is the 8th market and Philly confused at first.
  18. So happy she has gone up to the #4 market in the country. I got a chance to meet her in 2010 when she worked in Norfolk Virginia for WAVY-TV. She will do fine at KYW.
  19. Really @Darius22? They used a station twice (WIVB Top portion of the eye), forgot many major affiliates and O&Os, They did a terrible job on this graphic. This was clearly rushed.
  20. Here is a piece WTAE in Pittsburgh did for their 60th Anniversary this week along with an Editorial from original WTAE GM John Conomikes
  21. Already has. KDKA did this many years ago. Philly is Finally catching up to Pittsburgh .
  22. Here it is the NEW CBS Evening News with Jeff Glor Opening and closing.
  23. Looks like David Rhodes is Regretting removing Scott Pelley from the Evening News chair. More of a clear sign it could be Anderson Cooper taking over. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/ne...nsition-didnt-go-smoothly-hurt-morale-1017868
