I must be really slow with this stuff, because I didn’t even know she left CBS2 to begin with.
She left several years ago to host the NJ version of Restaurant Hunter on FiOS1 News. I loved the Westchester County version of that show, the one thing I really missed when the channel folded.

And today she posted on IG that she is full time at CBS2.

Jennifer Bisram just popped up in a report for WCBS..so perhaps she has a joint agreement between them and News12?
I suspect that the News12 spot was just a quick fill-in spot before moving to WCBS. Or else things quickly soured, and she had another offer that she had initially turned down.

She could just be visiting too..
Perhaps, but she did say "Happy to be back", and when Bruce Beck said "how did I miss this", Sibila responded "You're next! I'm coming for you Bubba!". So it doesn't seem like it was just some random visit. She also liked a comment that said "please please tell me that you're coming back".
Time will tell.

So, Teresa was back tonight. Maybe she just took yesterday off to trick or treat with her kids.
Per Teresa's post on IG, she'll be back at 6pm again on Monday (she was on all week this week except for Halloween). It appears that it's her spot, at least until it isn't.

So, Teresa was back tonight. Maybe she just took yesterday off to trick or treat with her kids.
And the format was the same yesterday with an interview. Did not watch the whole (yet) thing tonight.
I find it amazing that Steve Lacy doesn't do the 6pm. Is he a terrible interviewer, or does he just have an excellent contract? Or is it both?

Jennifer Bisram posted on IG that she's coming back to TV next Monday, but did not say at what station.
Turns out she's anchoring 10pm news on News12 Long Island. Seems like it might be temporary. Not sure what happened to the previous person, maybe one of the many laid off?

Or maybe the midday guy will do the 6pm.
Or maybe they do the right thing and give it to Teresa. I can't imagine Steve doing it, given that he hasn't even done it when Lori was gone, and it should have been obvious to have their main anchor do the solo spot.

Nexstar and FiOS have come to an agreement and WPIX is back on the air.
-
Take it for what it's worth, Sibila Vargas posted a photo of her at WNBC with Janice Huff and a WNBC hairstylist the other day with the caption "When you reunite with your besties". The hairstylist then responded "welcome back to NY" and Sibila responded "happy to be back"
She had been doing a morning show in SC for a while and haven't seen any announcement of her leaving (and she is still listed on their site) but have not seen any SC posts for a couple of months now. Will be interesting to see if she does end up back at WNBC again.

Teresa has earned it but she has been passed over several times for less significant jobs.
Remember, she was the morning anchor for a while before being dumped. Really too bad.

that Verma will anchor with Steve Lacy, so maybe they are dropping the solo-anchored 6pm format.

Surprised at the lack of diversity. Don't really see what she brings that Teresa didn't have.

So, I'm thinking that Teresa is going to be screwed again and not get the 5/6/10 slot on a permanent basis, since she's doing it but has not been announced. They'll probably find someone from elsewhere to make the newscast more diverse. She had posted after the first week that she was "helping out".
-
Yes, they had issued a warning earlier in the week that their contract was running out and that Nexstar wanted too much money on the renewal. Noticed it when we went to watch the 5pm news today!

WNBC used to have a current affairs show called "The Debrief with David Ushery."
That was a great show. Much different from the other sit-down shows.

WABC she’s still be there if it weren’t for bad competence of Camille Edwards and upper management.
FWIW, Bill Ritter corrected someone on FB who claimed that WABC dumped her and said that it was her decision.
Meanwhile, no announcement of a replacement.

Looking at the guide, it aired that "Weekend Adventure" E/I programming. Which is a requirement. They had to air those.
Seems odd that they would have to show them on a Sunday, which they never do. And the local news shows were back this week.

Seems like Up Close With Bill Ritter, which used to air at 11am on Sundays, is no longer on the schedule (it was not on today and is not on my Verizon guide for next week). Same for the show with (I think) Joe Torres that used to follow it. Not sure if it's going to be available for streaming, but there's nothing on the program's website, and Bill has not responded to a tweet I tagged him in.

Wow good luck to Lori; what a huge loss for NY News. Teresa is the natural choice since she's been filling in a lot more frequently lately. She's definitely main-anchor material despite (as someone pointed out) being demoted unreasonably. They could of course try to look externally too; i'm sure there will be an announcement soon
If what they did for the early morning news is any indication, they'll probably let it drag on for weeks or months, with Teresa and maybe others filling in without making it official. Then they'll either find someone more "diverse" or give in and give it to her.

Wow, what a loss for NY news. It’s a shame she left WABC because of…well, let’s just call it poor management, and she made a great anchor on Fox 5.
Agreed on all points. Christina would’ve been perfect for the job, but Teresa would be good as well.
Yes, would love to see Christina come back, but she seems to have disappeared. If Teresa gets it, it would be a great rebound from when she was foolishly dumped from the early morning news.

DWTS has never had real celebrities but how desperate were they??
I read some comments online from people who were excited about this year's mix. I'm not (didn't even look at the entire list), but given that it's now on Disney+, I wouldn't be watching it anyway.

Taresa Priolo has been in for Steve Lacy the last few days.. watching her and Lori is so much more enjoyable.. there is so much better flow and chemistry.
Teresa has been in for Lori the last couple of days with Steve and 5 and 10pm. Teresa has also been doing the 6pm rather than Steve taking it. Seems odd, given that he's a regular, and she's the sub (although not for that time slot). Either they don't think he's a good enough interviewer for the 6pm show, or they just feel like they need to have a female anchor then to attract viewers (or he's got a good contract). BTW, of Steve, Lori and Teresa, I choose Teresa every time so having her do 6pm is fine with me, but it just seems odd to me.

For a while I thought they dropped Kirstin as anchor in favor of Ayana Harry (she anchored for almost the whole summer) with Craig Treadway, but they brought Kirstin back last weekend.
I think that she was subbing on weekdays for a while. She also had some tennis matches and trips to the Cape on the weekend according to her IG page.

There was a fire in 30 Rock this morning, sometime between 4:30 and 6:30am. I recorded TINY at 6:30, and they started with the NBC Early Today show, but then Michael Gargiulo came back on and said that there had been a fire alarm that went off elsewhere in the building, and they had to be evacuated.
