  1. This is from 1994 when CBS originally accounced that they purchased WVEU with the intent of making it the CBS affaliate in Atlanta. This clip was from WAGA, which was in the process of leaving CBS for FOX.

Look for most Nexstar stations that still have them to lose their choppers very soon. You heard it here first.

Where's your source, which stations are set to lose their choppers?

I am not sure why people keep citing frequent preemptions because of the Florida Panthers deal. Most games start at 7 PM and are over either right at 10 PM or slightly before. So there should be a few preemptions if any at all.

The only preemptions would be when the Panthers are playing road games against the Western Conference.

I saw that NBC's NASCAR coverage is still using the old 2015 graphics as well. This year is the final year of the current NBC contract with NASCAR (they begin a new contract with less races next year), so I'm assuming they're waiting until next year's new contract starts to roll out an overhauled graphics package for NASCAR.

The old 2015 graphics are still in use by the RSNs as well, I'm assuming that they'll wait until NBA & NHL to start in October.

I would imagine a subchannel.  They would be foolish to send Fox packing to Scripps and WGNT, or worse, Sinclair and WTVZ.

    Don't forget Lockwood's WSKY

Also, the article mentions that WGN is rejoining the CW from WCIU as well as confirming 2 new homes from Scripps stations.
