So Rob Marciano is off today, but no one filled in for him. Gio Benitez just read the weather of the teleprompter. They are lucky there isn't severe weather this weekend.

I like him, well enough. Probably not the best we've ever seen, but I'd love for you to give me some hard evidence of how he's a "shitty" meteorologist. What in his basic scientific job performance is specifically "shitty"?

Now that I had all afternoon to think about, he's not a "shitty meteorologist" and I overreacted.

He knows his stuff, I would like to see him improve in the areas I mentioned instead of complaining about him.

He spends half of his forecast bantering and laughing and he stands WAY to close to the camera in both places they do weather and he can't stop moving from one side of the screen to the other unlike Tracy, Phil, Cheryl and Larry where there more serious and stand on one side of the screen.

What do you guys think of Greg Dutra, I think he's over the top, tries to be funny and fails and is a shitty meteorologist. I think he's one of the worst meteorologists ever as he doesn't take his job seriously.

I think the 4pm has been cancelled as my guide and the CBS tv schedule states it's judge judy reruns. Is it bc of NCAA tournament or did they abandoned ship. Also Ed Curran has been off the air for a while. I don't think he left or got fired since he is still promoted as part of the weather team.

I agree that this is a slap in the face to Robb; it seems like they they felt they needed a Megan for mornings...but just not Megan herself. Way too much turnover still. Will they ever learn to just stop touching their lineup? As an aside, a small part of me actually thought CBS might have tried to lure Bill Bellis, but I figure he probably would've been too expensive and then they'd only have one woman full-time in a team of 4.

Well, when Mary Kay is off, like this week, Robb fills in for her. Not Ed, Not Tim. So maybe within the next month, Mary Kay might announce she's leaving to move down to Florida permanently.  And she's been doing her forecasts from the studio for the last couple weeks, though, she could have gotten the vaccine. So maybe when/if she leaves, Robb will replace her. Who knows.

Unless Mary Kay Kleist is leaving since her husband has a job in Florida. If that's the case, he will take her spot. 

Tammie Souza filled in on the mornings on CBS Chicago this weekend and last night CBS Philly in the evenings. Weird set up.

This morning, ABC7 just pulled a WCBS and scrapped traffic this morning as Roz is on vacation. Diane had been filling in all week and she was not on today. Most likely they won't give traffic reports til Tuesday as labor day is coming up.

No surprise, he's been promoted to General Assignment reporting. He is reporting on weekend mornings. Which bumps Diane Pathieu to weekday morning reporting.  Make sense since she fills in for Roz on traffic and fill's in for the morning show. BTW. i'm not sure if this is just me, but I feel like she fits in really good with the rest of the team on the weekday morning show.

Siafa Lewis is Anchoring Tomorrow morning according to his twitter page (Sorry, I don't know how to post with the twitter post). They are taking a page out of CBS2's book on how they tested with Ryan Baker. This iS a test. Not a permanent move.

 Her usual fill ins, Stacey Baca, Karen Jordan and Diane Pathieu. But more likely Stacey or Karen, as Diane fills in for Roz on traffic. 

I think she's due at the end of February according to a reply on her Facebook page.

With Christmas just a few days away. Today started with a team we have never seen before. Mark Rivera, Liz Nagy and Tracy Butler.  Same team tomorrow too.

A new reporter named Alexis McAdams is joining the station. I'm wondering if it's freelancing since Megan Hickey left, or she's going full time.

Diane Pathieu filled in for Mark Rivera today and I gotta tell you, It was a nice change to see her and ironically, I didn't want her to get the seat perm a year ago, but now I wish she did. She seems less fake than Mark.

There's a small plane that landed on LSD, too bad it happened in the afternoon.

I don't really have a prob with Stacey, she's an ok Weekend morning anchor but sometimes she makes anchoring the news seem too positive and negative. Plus I have her autograph photo she sent to me framed and hung up on my wall

Maybe I'm being a bit over dramatic, but i've seen other annoying anchors, "cough cough" Suki "cough cough".

How would you guys rate the weekend team? I like both Marks, but Stacey is annoying and too perky.

Tracy was on today and will be on tomorrow. It's rare for her to do both weekend days.

I think Diane Pathieu is the main fill in for Roz for traffic again. In march, when Roz was off for a week and again today, it's been Diane and not Kristin Byrne. Now that Disney is in cost cutting mode, it makes more since to have Diane fill in on traffic than Kristin.

She's basically Cheryl Scott's twin sister, which she also talks to viewers like they are 2 year olds.

Do you guys think they will hire Mark McGinnis as a full time Meteorologist or hire someone else from outside Chicago?

When Larry was welcomed to the 6pm tonight. Alan and Kathy mention the last change to the 6pm newscast was when Alan joined in 1998. That's how long the team lasted before Jerry retired on Friday.
