Something new from eyeontv; a series of 2000 promos from KRON (approaching the end of its NBC days)

From CanuckFanNSTGS, here's the NFL '86 NBC pregame show opening segment from December 7, 1986. Some stuff to notice includes the fact that this was when the pregame show was shot in front of a studio audience, and a debate on whether or not there was too much on-field violence. This was two weeks after a cheap shot by Green Bay defensive end Charles Martin that ended Chicago quarterback Jim McMahon's season. The following week, Bears linebacker Otis Wilson delivered an elbow to Pittsburgh receiver Louis Lipps, drawing the ire of NBC commentators Charlie Jones and Jimmy Cefalo (the following day, Jones and Mike Ditka got into a heated argument during a WMAQ newscast). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQ4XLFuJhs8
