  1. Maybe she can anchor at 6 and at 10.
  2. He obviously didn’t leave yet. Wouldn’t it be something if he remains with ABC?
  3. Exactly. There’s no need to bring George in when David is already there.
  4. Do you think GMA would be ok with George if he left or retired? It’s one thing to have George anchor election coverage. It’s a whole other thing to have him come in to anchor a special report at 730 in the evening.
  5. I’d be curious to why ABC wouldn’t offer Tom David’s spot on 20/20 just to keep him at ABC if they didn’t. I don’t even see why it’s George and not David who anchors breaking news coverage. I never understood not having the evening news anchor be the lead anchor for braking news. ABC also could have put Tom on Nightline. I’m real curious as to why he’s leaving for NBC presuming that’s an accurate report that he is in-fact leaving ABC for NBC
  6. https://www.google.com/amp/s/abcnews.go.com/amp/News/jonathan-karl-abc-news-official-biography/story%3fid=127047
  7. Maybe he can co-host a show with Morgan Radford and Jose-Daiz Balart on weekdays on the network with some Telemundo collaboration as well. And anchor Nightly News on Sundays and Kate Snow could take over on Dateline. I saw he was going to be a co-host of this week.
  8. Maybe Tom can take over for Brian Williams as the lead anchor at MSNBC.
  9. Possibly. It’s hard to believe they will rotate between 3 hosts in the long term.
  10. Interesting to have three people rotating on This Week. I haven’t watched in a while. That’s a possibility and the same may happen with Dateline NBC someday as well.
  11. Apparently Jonathan Karl is going to co-host this week. Does anyone know who he’s taking over for? As for 20/20 I wonder why Robach and Muir would even want to host that program in addition to their other duties at the network.
  12. Good point. So I guess Brokaw really is not in the best of health. Otherwise he likely would have contributed to NBC’s election coverage. After all he didn’t have to go very far. It does seem like his finals days are approaching sadly.
  13. Perhaps this is why Tom Brokaw is being let go to make room for Tom Liamas.
  14. David Muir could be where he’s at for another 25-30 years. Lester Holt could be another few years away from retirement. This makes sense plus Tom has roots at NBC.
  15. As they should be doing.
  16. I predict that Morgan Radford will have a show somewhere on a new schedule.
  17. That’s most likely the case because of the pandemic.
  18. Same here although I think Bill Ritter happened to be in the studio before the news broke. It was good timing.
  19. I don’t disagree although that’s what Adam told me when I asked him.
  20. I saw that. WABC wanted to ensure there viewers heard about Terbeks passing from them first.
  21. I’m curious how Bill Ritter got to the studio so quickly unless he was already in.
  22. Adam said he’s going to be on Sat nights while there are new SNL episodes.
  23. There was a special report on channel 7 on the passing of Alex Terbek.
  24. They also act like Ann Curry and Deborah Norville no longer exist. I doubt that Matt will be involved with any event pertaining to the Torah show. I guess Meredith doesn’t care for what he was accused of doing. I think it would be quite awkward and even wrong to expect people who testified against him to be in the same room as him for a celebration. Apparently it was also a dislike on the part of NBC and the Today Show that he was even able to get away with as much as he did. They probably want to forget about it.
  25. I don’t expect him to be invited to the Today Shows 70th Anniversary Celebration in 2022 if we are back to “normal” by then.
