This is inaccurate. In the same press release on Taylor Kinzler’s new role is the announcement of Eddie Randall (KSN-TV) as new co-anchor of NBC CT Today weekdays along side Shannon Miller.

Shannon has been morning co-anchor since Nov 2023. She’s been anchoring solo for a while while Heidi has been out. Wonder if they will pair someone with Shannon. There is a new news/sports reporter with prior morning news anchoring experience - David Horwitz, maybe we’ll see him in the anchor chair soon. Seems odd to have a solo anchor from 4:30-7am, but 4 anchors for 4-6:30pm

Would be great to see Jim jump to MSNBC and replace Andrea Mitchell at 12pm.

Sandra Smith is co-hosting Weather Command with Stephen Morgan today covering the CA Wildfires

Easiest moves would be to elevate Craig Melvin to co-anchor, Sheinelle Jones to news anchor and co-host of 4th hour. would mean changes to 3rd hour (at a minimum replacing Sheinelle). Wouldn’t be surprised though if they leave everyone and bring in someone from outside. Maybe Jeff Gloor??

She probably has a clause where she has to remain quiet (probably goes both ways)

With the election coming I would be surprised if they didn’t do something. Even if it’s re-engineering the space where the Orange Room used to be… I think it was 2020 or 2022 where they added the additional large LED wall in front of that space… I can seem them make some subtle changes like that as well as removing the sunrise ‘sculpture’ in favor of something more generic NBC as the set is used for Nightly as well so the sunrise logo doesn’t really fit

Is studio 1A getting a refresh during the Olympics? I have not been able to watch and see if Sheinelle, Dylan, Carson and Jenna have appeared from 1A in NYC while the rest of the gang is in Paris.

Starting Monday Bob Van Dillon hosts a new 12-3pm show on FOX Weather… no word on any other changes to the lineup outside of this

What’s wrong with the weekend people?

FWF now ends at 8am with Weather Command starting an hour earlier. Craig is the regular co-host of FWF Mon-Fri with Britta from 5-8am. We’ll see how long this all lasts but it seems like the 12-3 hours have rotating hosts, otherwise weekdays seems to have an actual line-up… correct me if I’m wrong 5-8 Fox Weather First w/ Britta and Craig 8-12 Weather Command w/ Stephen and Marissa (sometimes a rotating 3rd cohost) 12-3 - America’s Weather Center - rotating solo host 3-6 - FOX Weather Now w/ Ian featuring Kayana? 6-9 - FOX Weather Live w/ Steve featuring Kayana/Nick?? 9pm - FOX Weather Tonight w/ Hailey

Politics and weather don’t mix well. I think with how polarized the cable news landscape has gotten we won’t see cross-over to that extent. I can see the occasional weather segment, but not a simulcast

This morning Marissa co-hosted FOX Weather First with Craig and Britta hosted FOX Weather Command with Bob…. I just don’t get why they randomly swap shows?!?

Based on social media posts, Stephen was off for a few days because he was traveling attending a wedding and looks like he extended the trip a bit. I wonder if he’s working Saturday to reduce the amount of PTO he’d have to take… regarding the rest of the schedule, it makes no sense. If viewers have an attachment to a specific meteorologist, but one day they are on 6-9, the next 9-12 it’s really hard to follow them! Why wouldn’t they just have them on consistent shows with consistent co-hosts?!? I get the rotation needed because of weekends, but why have Michael on the 6am some days, then the 9am, then the 6am, basically swapping with another met…Why not just the 6am every weekday,

Hailey’s show makes sense as Sun-Thurs IMHO. for Craig, it’s probably too early to tell (unless an announcement is made) but he has earned it - he’s an original and has been working weekends from day 1. Are the early afternoon hours hosted by 1 rotating meteorologist since Jason left ? When does Ian’s show start/end and what about Steve’s?

Any word on when Amy’s contract ends? She is still listed on the website (as is Jason Frazier)
