There's a new series on TODAY All Day called "Making of TODAY" where Al Roker hosts and gives behind the scenes of TODAY's reporting including a behind the scenes of Studio 1A.
It looks like Orange Room is still there and unless they only turned it on for this tour, the back wall screen still functions.

I just don’t understand why they keep changing the name of the show. I know it’s for the ratings, etc. but for example, whenever you say the words “GMA” or “Today show” to someone, there’s a likely chance they know what you’re talking about. But for CBS, it’s just gonna make it hard to keep up with people who have no interest in it. Other than the name change, it does look like an exciting, fresh look.
