If in the future they decide to go with Laura, I would be okay with it. But I think a better pairing would be Craig and Sheinelle. Both already have chemistry working together on the 3rd Hour, and they have anchored Today together on Saturday mornings. Plus when Al eventually retires (if that happens), Dylan would get his place, making it a simple shift and nothing too complex for viewers.

I kinda think they're going to keep him on News Now until Lester leaves, then he takes helm of the Nightly anchor chair.

Maybe he'll become contributor or special correspondent for Telemundo, or even an english news organization if he wanted to. Harry Smith vibes but focused on the hispanic community.

But since the death of NBCSN, USA has become NBC Sports' secondary network, with CNBC becoming overflow when the latter already has sports programming going on. If they want to keep promoting other sports like Premier League and Track and Field than it would be wise to put it on USA. However, it would probably end up on Peacock since that's where they have their SNF post show right now.

CNN only averaged 900,000 viewers in primetime for Super Tuesday, with 938,000 in the marquee 10pm ET hour. It is unusual for the DFW market considering how all the stations treat the 6pm newscasts as almost their flagship evening newscast.
