dpb 35
Here's something interesting: Today will have a new John Williams composed open on monday. It's probably going to be an incremental change, but still...this is exciting. Source: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970203893404577098730827733806.html "In his office last week, the composer took a break from the sheets of paper splayed across his desk, the theme music to NBC's "Meet the Press." It's a Williams composition that he's been hired to freshen, along with the "Today" opener, which NBC says will debut Jan. 16."
mark 55
It is exciting, but I hope it's only an incremental change. The beginning of the Today show open in incredible; it says "morning news" in a way only music can. And I love the way it was extended to fit the open a few years back, it just ends perfectly. 24994J 5287
New graphics, perhaps? But I must say, the blue, 60th Anniversary graphics from Friday were beautiful (and the theme wasn't half bad, either)!
News24/7 3
That blue look looks one heck of a lot like the leaked Look G package... Even the open has the same serif font?

News24/7 3
Nope. It pulls elements directly, such as the live bug.
dpb 35
The new Today open did not debut today (it was a special Golden Globes edition of Today that used a special open). But the new Meet the Press theme debuted on the December 18th edition of that program. Changes are very subtle.
