Since the job has been open for nearly two years, you would have figured they would have given the job to one of them at some point permanently and be done with it. Nevertheless, nothing wrong with picking an outsider (in this case). Also, having other jobs (freelance ones at that) doesn't mean they couldn't have been considered given that Dan held the same spot before for a # of years there and both him and Kerry are familiar faces to viewers. Again, nothing wrong with going in a different direction. Canelis aside, WFLD has had a pretty good group of sportscasters overall for a number of yrs..
