24994J 5888 Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Network News Music has received some major updates in the last few days, a few themes have been added and a blog is now being posted. There were two additions that I found particularly interesting. 1. A thorough review of the process that goes into composing a news theme, featuring the 2012 Good Morning America theme... http://www.networknewsmusic.com/wp/article/how-the-theme-that-took-gma-to-number-1-was-created/ 2. Also included is a 2001 composition for ABC News entitled "An American Dream". Now the website states that this piece, while fantastic, was never used on the air...but they are wrong. http://www.networknewsmusic.com/wp/an-american-dream/ I already submitted a comment about this, but QUIZ TIME! Without looking at any comments on NNM, when was this theme used on the air? Two points for the first correct response...
justin2kx 246 Posted September 6, 2012 Posted September 6, 2012 Wait, wasn't "An American Dream" used for the World News Tonight tribute to Peter Jennings in 2005?
