Jillian Barberie-Reynolds Out at Fox 11

No big surprise here. Jillian was appearing on Good Day LA on a reduced freelance basis throughout the summer and made the announcement on her Twitter account. Surprisingly, I heard the news today when KTLA did a story about Jillian's departure on their 1pm news.

 

Meanwhile, Maria Sansone has been named co-anchor of Good Day LA with Steve Edwards effective Monday.

Kind of sad that the team for so long is breaking up. Maybe Steve should go too in order to completely revamp the show.

Would'nt be surprised if he did. Still sad though that they lose Dorothy Lucey, and now Jillian Reynolds. The show just won't be the same.

Then maybe Steve will see this a good parting point for him and the station. He and KTTV can start fresh. That, or he is getting a really good paycheck and his contract will not expire for a long time. Then KTTV can just suffer with their mistake and Steve can rake in the dough!

 

Let's hope its the first one. LA viewers might want something fresh and someone could use a fresh Steve.

I used to watch on the Fox nfl pregAme show. I saw it in 09, but suddenly she left. No goodbye or anything. I can't stand Fox anymore.
