Jillian was appearing on Good Day LA on a reduced freelance basis throughout the summer and made the announcement on her Twitter account. Surprisingly, I heard the news today when KTLA did a story about Jillian's departure on their 1pm news. Then maybe Steve will see this a good parting point for him and the station. He and KTTV can start fresh. That, or he is getting a really good paycheck and his contract will not expire for a long time. Then KTTV can just suffer with their mistake and Steve can rake in the dough!
