24994J 5276 Posted May 9, 2013 Share Posted May 9, 2013 According to the Facebook post, they hope to be able to add and take away elements of the skyline as it changes, thus the simplistic (easily modified) design...and this was because someone called them out on the South Park look. Couldn't find either the short open or the long open with all the South Park-y cartoons on their website yet, just a quick look at their new L3s and bug: http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/video?autoStart=true&topVideoCatNo=default&clipId=8860887 They can change up the icons on the left corner to match the story topic like the CBS O&O L3s. Jess 1110 Posted May 9, 2013 Share Posted May 9, 2013 The CSD for KOVR/KMAX is the guy that runs idopromoz, so the South Park look is likely intentional. And very wise. Their short open just includes the title card at the end.
