New Raycom Graphics

I have noticed that a small handful of Raycom stations have all new graphics and music. IMHO, the new graphics are the best I have seen WECT here in Wilmington, NC. will not get theirs until June of 2014. while their sister station will not get an update until 2015. Why the slow roll out and is there something special or unique about this whole thing.

Slowest. Graphics. Rollout. Ever. Seriously, I think WAVE got these in May of last year.

To be fair, Raycom recently moved their graphics hub from Tucson (KOLD) to Charlotte (WBTV), so that may have played a role in the slow rollout (either that, or they decided to scrap it altogether in favor of a new one that might be under development).

Hopefully the latter, I'm not really a fan of the new package they have been implementing. Can't imagine how that would look on WBTV.

When I first saw this thread, I was hoping that they had come out with another new package to replace the latest version. But sadly, it's not the case.

WBTV has the nicest graphics in the group. Hopefully future looks will be modeled off of these instead of what the smaller stations are getting.
