WCPO bringing back Chopper 9

Last time WCPO had a helicopter I believe was 2000 when they retired it but the station yesterday debut the new Chopper 9.

I think WLWT has one. WKRC-TV did for a while. I don't know if they still do. WKRC, the radio station, lost a reporter and pilot in a helicopter crash back in the mid-1980s.

Growing up in Cincy in the 90s I remember WLWT, WXIX, and WCPO had helicopters at one point. I wonder if this will lead to wlwt bringing back their helicopter not sure if Raycom will invest in one with FOX 19

WOW! Didn't know 19 had a chopper....I remember when they would called themselves 19XIX, and Chopper 9 is butt ugly btw. It not a flashy chopper with nice pretty colors just looks too bland.

yeah they use to have a chopper mainly used in the AM when they were 19 In the Morning I think Dan Carroll was the pilot too
