NYNews 54
It is a trapezoid. Its above the WNBC 4 HD logo. I think it looks better if it was below it. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/1338-wnbc-adds-timetemp-bug/ Share on other sites
Vlad 325
I think they should just remove it all together. Or make it smaller like the way CBS 2 has it. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/1338-wnbc-adds-timetemp-bug/#findComment-11726 Share on other sites
A3N 1002
Looks bad. I agree with NYNews in that it should be moved to the bottom, and it should be side by side(time/temp). IceManNYR 240
A still from the HD feed: Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/1338-wnbc-adds-timetemp-bug/#findComment-11732 Share on other sites
NYNews 54
I think a time/temp bug is a good idea, but i'm not a big fan of it, mostly because no local station has perfected the presentation of it. Other than NY1, WCBS came close to perfecting it one year ago. The only thing i like about WNBC's bug is that it has a transparent-ish background, not like the solid one WABC has nor the plain looking one WCBS has. It would look a lot better under the WNBC logo and side by side as CBS8HD suggested. AceHawk447 17
I also like the idea of the time/temp bug, a semi-transparent one even more so. Re time/temp on WNBC: in the state shown, time/temp would be best situated next to the "4HD" bug, especially on the right (I think wabchd's widescreen-only idea is a good one too); if placed below "4HD," single-level time/temp is definitely the way to go, per CBS8HD's suggestion. NYNews 54
They've changed it, if you guys watched on Friday. It's what CBS8HD suggested where the time/temp are side by side, but they still placed it on top on the WNBC-HD logo. morningnewsfan 0
They have changed it back again to the side by side- and its over the 4HD logo. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/1338-wnbc-adds-timetemp-bug/#findComment-11939 Share on other sites

morningnewsfan 0
Isn't that what i wrote? No, they had it side by side, then they changed it to trapezoid, then they've changed it back to the side by side.
