TheRolyPoly 2592 Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 ... Is it me or is KFSN the only station that I know that starts its live stream at 5:30 a.m., instead of 4:30 a.m., when ABC 30 Action News A.M. LIVE first comes on ?
CircleSeven 1960 Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 ... Is it me or is KFSN the only station that I know that starts its live stream at 5:30 a.m., instead of 4:30 a.m., when ABC 30 Action News A.M. LIVE first comes on ? They also don't stream any of their weekend newscasts online. Their sister-station to the north (KGO) don't even stream its morning newscasts AT ALL.
24994J 5630 Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 That's likely their choice/capability. I remember a time not too long ago when KFSN's sisters WABC only streamed at noon and 5pm, KABC at 11am and 4pm, and WLS didn't stream at all...and this was only like 2.5 years ago.
news89 468 Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Also they dropped Newsone music after 20 years.
TheRolyPoly 2592 Posted December 4, 2014 Author Posted December 4, 2014 Also they dropped Newsone music after 20 years. Yes, shocking. I know. Their sister-station to the north (KGO) don't even stream its morning newscasts AT ALL. Really? Does all ABC O&O stations have a restriction to LIVE streaming?
RGSJenkins 435 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Yes, shocking. I know. Really? Does all ABC O&O stations have a restriction to LIVE streaming? The sports report of course, however KABC shows the scores during the sports blackout.
CircleSeven 1960 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 The sports report of course, however KABC shows the scores during the sports blackout. KGO does that too.
ToriElectra 292 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 A really annoying with all of ABC's local live streaming- WatchABC included- is that the newscast is always delayed three minutes. Anybody know why, and can we write to ABC to tell them to fix it?
NYNewser_676 26 Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 With any live stream this is going to happen because it has to be run and processed through the Internet... Happens with CNN, etc. no way around it (as of current tech I suppose)
