Viper550 292 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 So the WKRC version of the new site is actually a little different; the navbar is slightly different and it's got a sticky header. In my opinion, besides the fact that I still think the header could use a backdrop, it looks a bit more major-market that way.
atlnews2 591 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 WJLA now has the WKRC version of the site as well. It's probably a slight update / tweak that will be rolled out onto other stations later.
Breaking News 835 Posted December 7, 2015 Posted December 7, 2015 I'm smh on this one...Only Sinclair! http://www.ftvlive.com/todays-news/2015/12/6/sinclair-to-block-access-to-the-internet-for-employees

TexasTVNews 1378 Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Nashville FOX 17 (WZTV) has got a new site.
LexTVandRadio 418 Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 I guess they wanted to include the city next to their logo? FOX17 NASHVILLE
TennTV1983 806 Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 WPEC has also switched: http://cbs12.com/
Greggo 358 Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 WOAI/KABB have new sites. Good grief! Both those logos are hideous!
CircleSeven 1960 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 KSNV now have the new site. No telling when they finally ditched its old Inergize site.
tyrannical bastard 4018 Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 local15tv.com (WPMI) has switched over. Thankfully, they used their existing horizontal Local 15 logo. Their sister station UTV44 is still on their old site. WEAR is still on their old site as well. For how long? May happen sooner than later since they beat out WPMI to be "Sinclair-ized".....
tyrannical bastard 4018 Posted February 26, 2016 Posted February 26, 2016 ...and now WEAR has switched. Comparing the two sites, the layouts are nearly identical, but WEAR offers FAR more local news at the top of the page, while local15tv.com offers only a mention of their recent "town hall" and an assortment of national news and other clickbait headlines. Local news is relegated to the section below. Seems ironic for a station called "Local 15" to offer such little content that is actually local.

At least when Nexstar puts the "Local" branding on their stations, they really do mean local.
newsbot 271 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 WGME and WPFO have launched as well. The old WPFO WorldNow myfoxmaine.com site now redirects to the new fox23maine.com
scrabbleship 429 Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 WRGB has switched over too, a marked improvement over their bloated Freedom-era site.
tyrannical bastard 4018 Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 ...and WLOS has switched. Aside from WSBT, and their secondary stations, that pretty much sums up all of them....unless i'm missing one. In other Sinclair website news....they're creating a "DC Refined" website for WJLA. Cincinnati and Seatlle already have them up and running. They're touted as "lifestyle" websites. http://www.bizjournals.com/baltimore/news/2016/03/02/sinclair-broadcast-group-launchesonline-lifestyle.html

I imagine that either WJLA or NC8 will also make a show out of this as well, there is plenty of content to cover in a market the size of DC.
tyrannical bastard 4018 Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 These "refined" operations look to be separate digital ventures working in partnership with their respective stations.
