WDBJ to get new set

Nah, I don't wanna see that. And its been a long time, but its an idea that should've stayed in the '70s. That's my point. It's not original anymore.

Here's the video that features WTVJ's "4"-shaped desk in the '70s (CBS at the time - 1:36-1:38 into):

The floor director counting down at 7:47, though on camera, is hilarious! :D

I really like the 7 shaped desk. It is refreshing to see a little spice in a world where most sets are cookie cutter.

They also got new graphics (nice step up from what they had before)

But, they are still using Impact V.2 (which is starting to sound really tired)

WTVF does the same thing. their using Impact V.6 though. so they might switch to it. WDBJ has used impact since 1996.

The WDBJ desk is a knock off of the KTVA desk Devlin did over a year ago! LMAO!

They should really consider naming it the "Alison Parker and Adam Ward Studio"

They just did. Here's the post from WDBJ's Facebook page yesterday:

"It is with heavy hearts that we dedicate our new studio to Alison and Adam -- our A team. We love and miss them more than words can describe. We will never "move on" but we do hope to honor their memories in our work and in our lives."
