atlnews2 596 Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 It's not the wordpress sites that all other MG stations use, and it's not a Nexstar site either. http://www.keloland.com/

MichiganNewsGraphicsJunkie 949 Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 link is dead -- opens to blank page
atlnews2 596 Posted February 8, 2016 Author Posted February 8, 2016 I swear to god that they had a new website this morning. I'm not crazy !
TheRolyPoly 2592 Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Yep. No new look. I'm right. Sorry if you saw something different in the morning, but KELOLand still has the old look website, a look that I actually like.
DirtyHarry 727 Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 It's not the wordpress sites that all other MG stations use, and it's not a Nexstar site either. http://www.keloland.com/ The MG sites aren't bad when you click over to the news section, but that home page is awful. The KELO site is marginally better, but not by much. Not impressed. EDIT: They must have been pretty desperate for a better web platform than the one LIN was using. It was done locally. I'm surprised they were allowed to. http://www.l-s.com/contact
NWA_TV_guy 157 Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 May have been different because they were updating, etc. Websites can do crazy things. I've had websites that I've managed in the past to change layouts randomly.

The local provider probably provides them better support than the usual coastal techs could ever do for them.
atlnews2 596 Posted February 10, 2016 Author Posted February 10, 2016 It seems the new site is up and running again. I guess the transition didn't go so smoothly and they went back to the old one temporarily
TheRolyPoly 2592 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 There will be critics, but I actually like the new KELOLand website. A lot different and a lot better than their MG counterparts, for sure.
Viper550 292 Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 It kind of reminds me of the Sinclair sites, but a bit better here and there.
