The station's news director just posted on Facebook, saying it's the last day for their current set. The station received a version of the standard Gray set in the mid-2000s.

Beat me to it! Much needed.

I am sure it will still have the Gray set feel but for 2017. My guess is it will be like WVLT.

WYMT will have a better-looking set than WTVQ ;)

Don't tell me they'll be getting the carbon copy many Gray stations already have.

I'd rather for 36 to keep their hard set, than using a "virtual" like its sister stations have done.

Oh I am sure it will look similar.

Good point! A refresh would be nice.

New set should be debuting early next month? My guess is that it will look very similar to WCTV.

Maybe earlier. Sweeps start on Thursday.

WRDW has the same set basically, we got ours in 2004. It's very dated by today's standards and it looks like we won't get a new one until we get our new building (in another year or two). I'd kill for a cookie cutter new Gray set.

Nice! How old is the building?

It's as old as the station, built in 1954.
