To things more visible such as holding a competitions microphone while the subject is trying to get away and is surrounded by reporters and cameras.

But if 2 photographers are at a scene...and one gets his ass kicked by a crazy bystander...the other photog won't assist in any way. ...But he sure as hell WILL roll on it.
