bmasters1 403
One thing I'm wondering about GMA on ABC as it was back in the day: why did GMA have its news updates to come from ABC's Washington bureau (later from the New York bureau), whereas Today on NBC had its news update area/news desk right on set in New York? 24994J 5577
It's likely because GMA wasn't a production of ABC News til the mid-90's. It was under the entertainment programming division prior to that. Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/16169-gma-question/#findComment-192559 Share on other sites

After all, Today was titled on-screen starting in the 80s as NBC News Today (albeit it isn't any longer, IINM).
