I realize that just posting the link is against the rules. But I’m on my cell phone and am having trouble typing. Sounds like they’re in big trouble.

Does anyone think that CBS gets shut down as a result of this?

No, but it could result in the Redstones being forced to divest CBS because the FCC could find that the Redstones lack the basic character qualifications to be and remain an FCC licensee.

Only for their owned stations - nothing says they can’t own the network itself - and given the legal ownership structure of the divisions (Which would be true for ALL network O&Os) they’re prolly fine.

Nah, it just means that in 2022, CBS-Viacom will be purchased at fire sale price by Netflix, after merger talks break down between Viacom and Disney-AT&T.
