JosiahCubed 280
Well, after nearly 20 years with the exact same set; KTVB finally has a new set. Plus, its a nice change from the Tegna Set-in-a-Box (which I personally don't mind). https://www.ktvb.com/gallery/news/tour-the-brand-new-ktvb-set/277-d03e1b38-20c4-4582-bc63-6a69f485aa06 Link to comment https://localnewstalk.net/topic/17228-ktvb-new-set/ Share on other sites
atlnewsfan03 78
KTVB did really good with this set. I notice the anchor desk looks kind of small and round, but can't tell if it's anything like KHOU. Like the interview area concept being interchangeable. I'm hoping TEGNA has plans to invest in new sets at WKYC and WGRZ, and maybe WCNC next. WKYC had a “refresh” a year or so ago, but with each iteration, it seems to look worse and worse. They could definitely use a complete rebuild. Maybe with their ambitious 5pm plans and competitor WJW getting a new set, maybe Tegna will give them budget for a real new set... MidwestTV 1232
This is honestly better than Tegna's big market stations (KING, WHAS, etc). A nice, fresh look, and pretty decently sized too.
