DirtyHarry 720
Is there any kind of dictionary or encyclopedia and existence where you can try to track down the name of a font? I am specifically looking for the typeface used in these samples, from the late 1960s through the 1970s. I actually tracked down the guy who designed the Red Owl Foods version of the font (made to look bolder so it would stand out more) but he hadn't saved anything from his work at Red Owl. I also struck out at the typeface houses in Minneapolis he referred me to. somebody has to know what it is because Adidas uses something similar for their Fomotion line. Any suggestions on where I could track this down??

noggi 600
Have you considered the possibility any of those were handmade designs or modifications of existing typefaces?

That's what I'm thinking. I don't know how easy it is to make your own font and to make it look good. but that's probably going to be my next step because this company has been defunct for almost 40 years.
