He might have been incredibly frugal but his stations were decent. Buddy Bostick, who founded KWTX-TV, died Wednesday at the age of 98. Here's the piece of advice he left us in 1985 on the topic of news music...

"Buy the music... Buy it just like you buy your cameras and like you buy your transmitters. When you buy it, you own it and you use it until it is no good and you can throw it away."

There's is absolutely no adequate way to describe Rich Fisher... Legendary, Perspective, and Quintessential. And I know Rich and the late, great Bill Bonds are now together

anchoring the news up in the good lord above. Rich Fisher's contributions throughout the entire Metro Detroit area were great and respectful. Fisher worked anchored, with

THE BEST in Detroit Television at WXYZ, WJBK and WKBD/WWJ bar none. Makupeson, Briscoe, Conway, Bonds, Lewis, Perkins, Margolis, Feldman, Zaret, Edwards,

Materre, Hodak, Glover, and many others who worked along side him. They'll never be, I mean this from the heart; they'll never another broadcaster and communicator than

Rich Fisher.

TVNT would like to offer our extended heartfelt thoughts, prayers and condolences to Rich Fisher's family, and his extended TV family at FOX 2 (WJBK), ABC 7 (WXYZ) and

CW 50/CBS 62 (WKBD/WWJ) in this very difficult and emotional time.

Rest in Peace, Rich Fisher and Godspeed.
