Jeff worked at the South Bend's NBC affiliate (WNDU) for four decades. Jeffers cared about the television station as much as anyone ever waked in the doors. Jeffers cared about Notre Dame Football, he had a passion about The Fighting Irish liked no other. Jeff was inducted into the Indiana Football hall of Fame in 2008 for his life work covering and supporting the growth of the game he loved, it was an honor he cherished.
