WNBC's Christmas promo

Okay, now I saw the the WNBC classic promo for the holidays of everybody out on the rink singing. The one I saw was an extended one (30-45 seconds). The only reason I bring this up is because I saw someone in the background of one of the shots singing (you know how the shots are more centered around whoever the television personality is? that kind of background). she looked A LOT like Roz Abrams.

 

I don't know. If anyone catches it, try to look and tell me if I'm insane and seeing things, or if it really does look like her.

I'll have to look for that. I also saw a commercial or read an article where there is some sort of contest where if you win you would be able to sing and be in the commercial next year.

Saw the promo (you can watch all the different cuts of it at WNBC.com) and saw the woman you might be thinking of. It's not Roz.

I know Al is usually in it but I think I've seen Ann Curry to.

Its actually a promo that can only be seen on TV, does anyone know the song that they are singing? If its "Winter Wonderland", then its the one from last year. Not sure if its the same song as I haven't seen it yet.

Yeah, I'm thinking it's not her now anymore either. Just when I caught it on WNBC Sunday Morning, it was quick and looked like her. I'm not ruling out it isn't her, it might be WNBC teasing, but odds are it isn't.

I only had a couple of seconds to watch so it might just be me, but I didn't see Huff and Marshall or Sue for that matter. I know I only saw Cimino for a brief second. Yet, for some inexplicable reason, I saw Mosey over and over again. Good grief. Who's doing was that? ???

Simple explanation. The commercial is shot at "x" hour. If said staff isn't there at "x" hour, they're not in the commercial. Hence the reason why you don't see Sue, Janice, John, Ushery, etc.

Well on the website it says something along the lines of you being able to sing with "Chuck, Lynda, and Al" for 2007.

So, do Sue and the rest not want to participate? Thats what I think.
