Gray’s WLOX on the Mississippi Gulf Coast is utilizing a temporary set for newscasts while a new set is installed in their studio. The current set has been in use since the station went HD in 2011.

The debut of their new set will be in December 2022.

I cannot believe how much time they spent on their new studio and explaining every little thing. Incredibly drawn out.

Me either - Very detailed - Even down to the explanation of the different colors and when the colors are used. Lol! I thought it was fascinating and hilarious at the same time. I love to see the excitement at the station!

Honestly, that set is nothing special. It's underwhelming. Why are we wasting the viewer's time?

For a Gray station, this set is pretty good.  For the market size, it's very impressive.

At least they got something halfway decent instead of the "Gray-hound" bus station look that ended up in Panama City and Meridian.

Curious to see what Hattiesburg is getting.

They also switched the graphics.  It took a minute for me to notice, since all these Gray looks run together.  It's actually the old package WJHG had before they "bee-came" a honey-comb clone like WTVY, WTVM, WTOK, and others.
