Bsean 150 Posted September 24, 2007 Share Posted September 24, 2007 Today, KGTV San Diego debuted their new graphics and have finally decided to use some better cuts of Eyewitness News from Gari. I like the cut(s) they are using, similar to what KABC is using. I'm still kinda new to this site, so I don't know how to do screencaps, but if someone can get some, that would be great. The only problem is that the opens are very rushed less than 5 seconds, and so far no talent intro . KGTV finally moved the bug to the right side. Overall pretty good, they just need to work out a few kinks. SFTV 527 Posted September 25, 2007 Share Posted September 25, 2007 I also noticed they started to use the "Live Direction Package" of the Hothaus Package in the opening sequence with the 1ONEWS Van where everything is all fast paced. But yes, the new cuts are better than the stomp, rumble and ching ching beats that KGTV used. They overused it a lot.
