HowardSalwasser 28 Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 I say apparently because googling the term Nielsen 2025 26 DMA rankings is showing nothing. I did find that San Francisco has jumped Boston for 9th place in the Rankings. If anyone has any idea on where they are, post them.
Daybreak 297 Posted October 1, 2025 Posted October 1, 2025 Here is the top 50 for the 2025-2026 season: https://www.sportsbusinessjournal.com/Articles/2025/09/29/us-media-market-rankings-bay-area-passes-boston-strong-growth-for-austin-west-palm-beach-okc/ 1
kjohnson 20 Posted October 4, 2025 Posted October 4, 2025 I think St. Louis has been 24th for a few years. Stagnant population growth in the metro area, and some out migration.
Megatron81 343 Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 West Michigan DMA last, I check was either 44 or 45, 20 years ago was 39 in DMA rankings.
MidwestTV 1358 Posted October 6, 2025 Posted October 6, 2025 Kansas City at 35 is the lowest I can recall for them in a while. Louisville and Albuquerque swapped places.
cbs4dallas 18 Posted October 7, 2025 Posted October 7, 2025 Austin and San Antonio are literally right next to each other. Who knows if SA will ever swap places with Austin in the next few years. 1

Still haven't found the full list anywhere -- though I also wonder why Nielsen doesn't just release the list itself. I mean, the top 50 are already available, so what's so secret about the other 160? 1
