Geoffrey 873 Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 From msnbc.com: NEW YORK - A WNBC reporter was attacked and robbed Monday night in Manhattan's Greenwich Village, police said. Political Reporter Jay DeDapper had just finished covering the Democratic debate for "NewsChannel 4 at 11" ( click here to watch his report) when he stopped at a pizzeria on his way home. After he left the restaurant, three people jumped him, hitting him on the head and kicking him, according to authorities. DeDapper fought back, and the attackers eventually fled. The attackers didn't have any weapons, police said. DeDapper was taken to St. Vincent's Hospital, where he was treated and released.
