Deadliest Catch will probably be syndicated in HD. American Chopper is already being syndicated in HD. Both went syndicated at the Same time. 'Til Death is another possible syndicated offering. In 2011 The Big Bang Theory will go into syndication. Our Fox station KSWB is too cheap to buy HD syndication equipment. Tribune uses a centrialized method for linear syndication. Pathfire they probably are on their own. Tribune captures the feed and then sends it out via a Pathfire like service to their HD servers. Belo has also gone with this method. rv65 3 Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 Seinfeld is now available for HD syndication. TBS HD is airing the HD episodes. They do some weird method to make it 16:9. Should really be OAR. It might be but who knows. Sony will be providing it via a linear sat feed. Sony took the old film negatives and telecined them in HD. Mainly for the DVD releases. This episode will be the first HD episode of the series. It will probably be 16:9 HD not 4:3 HD. Originally they offered to do it in 4:3 HD but Fox said no. Fox wants all HD material to be 16:9.
