WRNN who had move to new studios and expanded their news casts last fall have now changed their line up again.

There is only one 30min news cast at 4:30pm and the other news casts have been replaced with syndicated programming.

Here's the schedule as of this week,

4:30 PM News Center NOW---Long Island

5:00 PM Access Hollywood

5:30 PM Inside Edition

6:00 PM Real Politics Live

6:30 PM Access Hollywood

7:00 PM Richard French Live

8:00 PM Law & Order: Criminal Intent

Northern NJ and NYC get WRNN thanks to the FCC's Must Carry Rules.

It's the same reason NJ cable systems in northern NJ carry WLNY.

I have to wonder why RNN would still be producing a Long Island news cast when according to the Cablevision channel lineups none of the Long Island systems carry it?

It would make more sense for them to keep doing the Hudson Valley newscast.

I also wonder why they would bother to move to Rye and then cut back on their news programming?

Or did they move just so they can be closer to NYC and stay on the cable systems in the NYC area?

I guess the money they get selling 80% of their air time to infomercials keeps them on the air?
