PTVNews 196 Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 It's called Viper 2008. Created for WWOR. Take a listen: http://615music.com/core/news_music_demos.cfm I like it. Seems like a nice sized package. It has 12 themes and over 510 cuts. What do you guys think?
kjohnson 17 Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I'm going to say I prefer the old UPN/Viper signature. This seems horribly discordant in the sound. 615 is usually better at this. It doesn't sound bad, but what's the application. Compare with "Chicago's Very Own" or "Moving FOR-ward" and I think you'll see what I mean...
RGSJenkins 435 Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 I like the Viper instead of the Viper 2008. This version doesn't even sound like the Viper except for two cuts.
Ntropolis 598 Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 It sounds like production music. In technicality it is production music... just 510 cuts of it built around the same signature.
Weeters 1969 Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 In technicality it is production music... just 510 cuts of it built around the same signature. There was a signature?
Ntropolis 598 Posted October 8, 2008 Posted October 8, 2008 There was a signature? Mhm... the 6-note thing at the beginning of the 615 sample. Then yeah... I guess most of it sounds like random production tracks...
WAVY 10 Fan 233 Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 615 is usually better at this. 615 seems to have been striking out with some of their new stuff.
News24/7 3 Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 It sounds like production music. Techincaly every news music package is "production music" just customized
jestbiteme 13 Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Techincaly every news music package is "production music" just customized Oh, SNAP!
Vlad 330 Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 I think its a very nice update. But I hardly doubt WWOR will be commissioning all 510 cuts, since they only have 1 hour of news per day, lol.
